Helen Beeson, Assistant Project Manager Helen’s interest in native plant horticulture began while she was finishing her degree in Ecology and Environmental Science at UC Berkeley in 2007. An internship in Save the Bay’s native plant nurseries around the Bay Area gave her hands on experience in the field and her subsequent position as a junior botanist for a local environmental consulting company furthered her knowledge of botany and restoration science. She has enjoyed working for The Watershed Nursery since June 2009. She is responsible for transplanting seedlings and helping with maintenance and organization for contract orders. She loves getting her hands dirty while applying her botanical knowledge to assist with local environmental projects. |
